Denise is a self-professed “knowledge junkie” who is always excited to gain new knowledge and information that she can pass on and teach others. She has over five years of experience in higher education as an adjunct professor and has spent over 15 years building relationships with community leaders, public officials, and leaders in state government and non-profit organizations in her various regulatory, governmental relations, and customer facing positions.

Denise has her Ph.D. in Public Policy & Administration from Walden University where her course work included: knowledge management, organizational theory, adult learning theory, human resource management, financial management, IT management, and qualitative & quantitative analysis. She also holds an M.P.A. from Walden University, M.A. in Political Studies from the University of Illinois, Paralegal certification from Roosevelt University, and B.A. in English from Western Illinois University.
